JT Bogden has an expansive educational background having acquired a Bachelor of Science in Operations
Management from The Ohio State University and his Masters of Science in Information Technologies from The University of Maryland. He has also received a Networking and Relational Database Management Certificate from Columbus State Community College. Over the years, he has trained and received numerous certifications that include Novell and Microsoft Server Administrator Certifications, Hazardous material handling and Loadmaster Certification, X-Ray and Radiological Safety Certification, Total Quality Management Certification, and his Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

During his formative years of high school and college he operated a profitable building and grounds maintenance company for 9 years. Upon graduating from Ohio State University he joined the United States Navy and reported to Aviation Officer Candidate School, AOCS, in Pensacola, FL. He was commissioned as a Naval Officer, Aerospace Engineering Duty Aviation Maintenance and reported to the Naval Air Station Miramar, San Diego, California.
There he began his career supervising aircraft maintenance on 9 airframes having up to 7 shops, 172 artisans, and some 40 management programs. As the services transitioned in the post-Cold War era, JT also transitioned performing duties related to information technology, various specialty projects, and civil affairs. On the day of 911, he served as the right hand man to the current operations group commander for the Combatant Commander Southern Forces. In all, he served in numerous overseas campaigns and supported the detainee airlifts to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba accruing more than 36 months at sea and 28 months in ground and naval combat before retiring in 2011. During his military service he sailed every ocean and traveled to over 35 countries gaining regional, global, and cultural perspectives.
He has completed large scale civilian projects encompassing aircraft remanufacturing; Orlando Magic Arena WiFi installation; and a high volume database migration in the financial industry. These projects involved supply chain and international business operations in addition to the technology and systems.
JT Bogden brings to the table experiences in the private, public, and military sectors. His global travels and projects yield cultural and international perspectives. Coupled with his training and education, he sees the big picture connecting strategy to the task at hand. Most importantly in the field of academia, he instills transportable techniques, tactics, and procedures that develop his students to be proactive in the workplace. He has accumulated over 550 instructor hours training students in MS Office, MS Project, Networking, MS SQL, and the PMP certification.
